Stars of hope (Proverbs 10:6)

We have able to reach the district of Kabarole and its neighboring districts ,, we have reached these people in there home places, we have found them in there gardens and work places and have shown them Jesus the hope of Glory… w also find the youth in their schools, we have formed scripture union clubs in these schools and have elected leaders there who elect others after their term of office.. In these schools many boys and girls have received Jesus as there lord and savior, and they have finally come out of these school and become powerful ministers of the gospel of the kingdom, and many of these have been trusted and elected as leaders of the students f these school we operate in in,, we both go to primary and high school, and we are now targeting universities,,  in the next year of 2011 to 2015 outreach plan..

These students are amazing people of God who I enjoy  ministering to,,,,

 Our success

Through the little provisions we get,, we have been able to  get some of our young boys who had no school back to school  and one of them currently has finished his Primary seven and he is joining a secondary school next year. we spare of what would have been our pocket money to help our fellow orphans get some thing to eat and also go to school.  The widows are also given voluntary counseling and given seeds to plant and get food in their homes,,, this has however been done on allow scale because we don't have much to give away, we also have faith that we will be able to get more help to give to these people of God,, many of the young men who were once behaving bad at home have now become good ones and loved by their parents again,,, they are part of our outreach team and great ministers,,,,,all this has been done by the grace of our lord Jesus….

Founder’s  back ground

                                                                                     

I started the work of the gospel in the year, 2003 I stated ministering in the ministry of playing instruments and operating machines in our mother church, we then moved and formed a singing Group, and through that group I was able to reach many people through gospel music and drummer which we staged in schools and also in prison cells, many youth gave their lives to the lord and through this ministry we saw many people, receive their miraculous healing, and deliverances, God used us in extending the gospel to the hopeless and the oppressed in hospitals, and in villages where witches and Demons oppressed the people, we were able to go through out east and central Africa for the gospel outreach while in that group.

In the time we met we were both in church and we only came to find out that our group the majority were orphans, God provided for us and we were able to go to school, though some of us had broke out of school, but we were able to go back. We spent four years in our group which we left after that, I  was able to train other young men who have went on with the ministry, God gave me a dream of evangelism in one of the Villages where people were being oppressed by demonic powers.

I then joined one outreach organization named OTA that had started a school construction in that area. I was able to join that Organization and we preached the gospel in that place many witch doctors got saved and we also established a church in that area, which is now having over three hundred people, we started by praying  under a tree where we used a Jeri can as a drum, through storms and  rains that hit us on that area God brought us out and we stayed, people went on getting saved and as they came they asked us to start praying in the normal service hours since we were coming in the evening after normal church hours.

After six months we started the normal church praying hours and the lord led us through, as the church went on we were able to ask the founder of the school to allow us use her premises for our gathering every Sunday, she acted well and we used it. Since none of us had the means to have the church reorganized in the government we asked the founder since her organization was charitable to allow us give her the responsibility of putting the church under her ministry, this worked and we put the church under her ministry and since she was also a Christian evangelist we also had to put her our leadership committee.

God was faithful and this lady helped us with Transport to the church every Sunday, her organization had a car, which I could drive and get me and the team to the church. Its now three years since we started and we have seen success in this and God has been faithful to our calling, last may 2010, God through one family from Canada I was able to go and attend a missionary training school In Mozambique where he was trained about missions and ministry under Iris ministries that is headed by Rolland and Heidi Baker. It was a big blessing to the group since our vision was enlarged and we are now seeing far than where we used to.

When I was away I left the team at work in the ministry at church, the team made up of evangelists’ pastors and musicians and also Sunday school teachers. We also believe that God is calling us to reach many more places with message of love.

As of now the church is strong and we now believe God for more opportunities to go and extend his kingdom to all nations. We intend to leave this church with some of the members of our team. We have trained leaders in this church who can take the work on even when am are gone, we have Pastor James, and Pastor Patrick, and these men are so incredible and powerful in the great work of extending the Kingdom.

I see God has called me to be a missionary and we are taking the vision to nations. We as stars of Hope ministries are willing to and obedient to the calling God has put on our lives since we are moving in the promises of Jesus our master and elder brother. John 16:33. We seeing God bring us from level to another through hope and blessings of love, we have learnt to low and slow in what ever we are doing in the great commission.

 We are on the way to register this ministry in the government so that we can be able operate independent of any obstacles, we hope to make it international since we are seeing God has put not only Uganda on our hearts but nations. It may take some time since none of us working and neither do we have any funders for this but our provider God will make it happen since its all for his glory. We believe God to open doors for us in and out and get people who will guide us stand with us, support us financially and materially.

We needy prayer partners and also people who can join hands with us in this great harvest we know the harvest is Ripe. We stay far away from them but we meet.

3.08    To encourage and assist partner instructions to mobilize, plan, develop and manage resources sustainably to bring light to the darkest corners of life in the world in efficient manner.

OBJECTIVES:

•        Offering chances to the hopeless orphans, widows, street kids, to attain education through sponsoring them in their nearest schools.
•          Ensuring means of sustaining them though getting them scholastic materials, clothings, meals, in their respective schools.
•         Providing transport to get them to school and from school to their area of residence on daily basis.
•         Providing them with food to eat while at home while not at school, and providing them with basic needs while at home in holidays.
•         Empowering the orphans with means of growth in the word of God and ways to know God as their Hope and everlasting father.
•         Bringing hope to the orphan children who are born with HIV/aids by giving them counseling and feeding and their basic needs like medications.
•        Training orphans headed families’ means to self sustainability by conducting workshops and sensitization in their areas of residence.
•        Creating a home a home for the homeless and ensuring growth both spiritually and materially as well as providing education to them
•         Conducting village medical outreach to the orphan homes to ensure a steady, spiritual and physical growth.
•         Reaching out to helpless widows in the villages through the gospel of love and helping them in their infrastructures,
•         Preaching the gospel to all corners through Crusades and house to house evangelism, counseling and loving them.
•        Conducting HIV/ aids sensitization workshops through holding meetings right from grass root, at village levels to national level.
•       Conducting missions to the different geographic areas as the lord speaks with the God given people.
•        Equipping church leaders with training on true biblical principles and sending them back to there home churches full of the love more passion for the gospel.
•       Bringing more love and life to families with marriage problems through teaching, and counseling them, and giving them biblical concepts about true love on relations in marriage.  

We intend to get the a permanent  area we can establish a our head offices.  we there fore request for you support in any way you can.
